2、National Geophysical Exploration Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center

The predecessor of the National Geophysical Exploration Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center (referred to as the "Engineering Center") was the 302 Research Laboratory of the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources in the 1950s. Based on this, the Instrument Department of Changchun Geological College was established, which is the earliest instrument major established in Chinese universities. In November 2009, the "Engineering Center" was established with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, relying on Jilin University. It is currently the only national level engineering technology research center of Jilin University Since the 1950s, we have been developing aviation geophysical exploration instruments and have undertaken multiple national major scientific research projects. We have obtained multiple scientific research achievements and technical patents for geophysical instruments, and have won various awards at the national, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and provincial levels. We have made important contributions to the research and development of geophysical exploration instruments and the cultivation of high-level talents in China. At present, the Engineering Center has established a comprehensive system for the research, development, production, and engineering services of geophysical exploration instruments, achieving the engineering of technical achievements. The technical indicators of the geophysical exploration instruments developed have reached the international advanced level and have been widely applied in nearly a hundred geophysical exploration units in 30 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions abroad and domestically, solving many practical problems and receiving attention and attention from provincial and municipal leaders. At the same time, multiple official media outlets have provided coverage, which is of great significance for promoting the industrialization of the "Engineering Center" and better serving society.
